Sweden stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 down 0.36%

– Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials , Healthcare and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.36% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST: SEBa ), which rose 0.77% or 1.15 points to trade at 151.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST: AZN ) added 0.75% or 10.50 points to end at 1,409.00 and ABB Ltd (ST: ABB ) was up 0.69% or 4.20 points to 611.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST: NIBEb ), which fell 4.02% or 1.90 points to trade at 45.60 at the close. Electrolux AB Class B (ST: ELUXb ) declined 3.70% or 3.10 points to end at 81.30 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST: SBBb ) was down 3.31% or 0.14 points to 4.03.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 484 to 291 and 77 ended unchanged.

Shares in Electrolux AB Class B (ST: ELUXb ) fell to 5-year lows; losing 3.70% or 3.10 to 81.30.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.06% or 0.04 to $69.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.04% or 0.03 to hit $73.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.01% or 26.70 to trade at $2,657.70 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was up 0.46% to 11.61, while USD/SEK rose 1.14% to 11.04.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 106.75.
