Norway stocks higher at close of trade; Oslo OBX up 0.18%

Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.18%.

The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL: NEL ), which rose 5.84% or 0.17 points to trade at 3.03 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL: NOD ) added 2.10% or 2.08 points to end at 101.00 and Tomra Systems ASA (OL: TOM ) was up 1.90% or 2.90 points to 155.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Equinor ASA (OL: EQNR ), which fell 1.53% or 4.15 points to trade at 267.10 at the close. Borr Drilling Ltd (OL: BORR ) declined 1.48% or 0.60 points to end at 39.88 and TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL: TGS ) was down 1.44% or 1.60 points to 109.50.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 187 to 100 and 20 ended unchanged.

Shares in Borr Drilling Ltd (OL: BORR ) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.48% or 0.60 to 39.88.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.09% or 0.06 to $69.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.08% or 0.06 to hit $73.56 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 11.56 to trade at $2,679.46 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was unchanged 0.00% to 11.63, while USD/NOK unchanged 0.03% to 11.04.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 106.23.
