Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.81%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate , Technology and Insurance sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.81%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE: CAMT ), which rose 4.54% or 1,340.00 points to trade at 30,840.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE: ENOG ) added 3.07% or 138.00 points to end at 4,640.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE: TEVA ) was up 1.88% or 142.00 points to 7,712.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were NICE Ltd (TASE: NICE ), which fell 4.94% or 3,350.00 points to trade at 64,500.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE: TSEM ) declined 4.86% or 940.00 points to end at 18,390.00 and Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE: ENLT ) was down 3.53% or 207.00 points to 5,664.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 310 to 150 and 77 ended unchanged.

Shares in Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE: TEVA ) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 1.88% or 142.00 to 7,712.00.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.29% or 0.91 to $69.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.53% or 0.39 to hit $73.00 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.90% or 50.36 to trade at $2,602.94 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 1.45% to 3.65, while EUR/ILS rose 1.72% to 3.79.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 108.00.
