Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 2.82%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology , Healthcare and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.82%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE: ISS ), which rose 0.15% or 0.20 points to trade at 129.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE: TRYG ) fell 0.20% or 0.30 points to end at 150.10 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE: DSV ) was down 0.27% or 4.00 points to 1,496.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ZELA ), which fell 5.73% or 46.00 points to trade at 756.50 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE: NOVOb ) declined 3.68% or 28.40 points to end at 743.20 and GN Store Nord (CSE: GN ) was down 3.61% or 4.90 points to 130.70.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 41 and 16 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.62% or 1.14 to $69.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.76% or 0.56 to hit $72.83 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.74% or 46.20 to trade at $2,607.10 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.29% to 7.19, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 107.96.
