Morocco stocks lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.02%

Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure , Utilities and Pharmaceutical Industry sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.02%.

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Jet Contractors (CSE: JET ), which rose 4.05% or 70.00 points to trade at 1,800.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nationale d’Electrolyse et de Petrochimie Ste SA (CSE: SNP ) added 3.28% or 19.00 points to end at 599.00 and Fenie Brossette (CSE: FBR ) was up 2.47% or 2.65 points to 109.95 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Maghreb Oxygene (CSE: MOX ), which fell 9.92% or 25.80 points to trade at 234.15 at the close. Stokvis Nord Afrique (CSE: SNA ) declined 5.63% or 0.94 points to end at 15.76 and S2M (CSE: S2M ) was down 3.81% or 9.50 points to 240.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 26 to 22 and 9 ended unchanged.

Shares in Jet Contractors (CSE: JET ) rose to all time highs; up 4.05% or 70.00 to 1,800.00.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.64% or 1.86 to $68.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.89% or 0.65 to hit $72.23 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.13% or 29.41 to trade at $2,637.51 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.17% to 10.46, while USD/MAD rose 0.24% to 10.06.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 107.73.
