Norway stocks higher at close of trade; Oslo OBX up 0.58%

Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.58%.

The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Borr Drilling Ltd (OL: BORR ), which rose 6.62% or 2.62 points to trade at 42.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL: HAUTO ) added 4.45% or 4.70 points to end at 110.40 and Hafnia Ltd (OL: HAFNI ) was up 2.26% or 1.30 points to 58.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL: NEL ), which fell 6.29% or 0.19 points to trade at 2.85 at the close. Tomra Systems ASA (OL: TOM ) declined 1.79% or 2.70 points to end at 148.10 and Mowi ASA (OL: MOWI ) was down 0.51% or 1.00 points to 194.45.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 180 to 92 and 34 ended unchanged.

Shares in Nel ASA (OL: NEL ) fell to 5-year lows; losing 6.29% or 0.19 to 2.85.

Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.01% or 0.70 to $68.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.01% or 0.73 to hit $71.83 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.76% or 20.06 to trade at $2,625.04 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was up 0.41% to 11.81, while USD/NOK rose 0.77% to 11.37.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.59% at 107.98.
