Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.14%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods , Real Estate and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.14%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE: AMBUb ), which rose 17.13% or 19.90 points to trade at 136.10 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CSE: ISS ) added 2.54% or 3.20 points to end at 129.00 and Demant A/S (CSE: DEMANT ) was up 1.70% or 4.80 points to 287.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE: ORSTED ), which fell 4.34% or 13.50 points to trade at 297.90 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE: VWS ) declined 3.43% or 3.30 points to end at 93.50 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE: CARLb ) was down 2.08% or 14.40 points to 677.20.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 59 and 23 ended unchanged.

Shares in Oersted AS (CSE: ORSTED ) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.34% or 13.50 to 297.90. Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE: VWS ) fell to 5-year lows; down 3.43% or 3.30 to 93.50. Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CSE: CARLb ) fell to 3-years lows; falling 2.08% or 14.40 to 677.20.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.52% or 1.86 to $75.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.50% or 1.92 to hit $78.84 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.04% or 27.94 to trade at $2,718.74 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.65% to 7.29, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.51% at 109.57.
