Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms , Banking and Household sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 0.90%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Thessaloniki Port Authority SA (AT: OLTr ), which rose 12.97% or 3.10 points to trade at 27.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Intralot (AT: INLr ) added 2.47% or 0.03 points to end at 1.08 and Cars Motorcycles and Marine Engine Trade and Import Company SA (AT: MTDr ) was up 2.17% or 0.06 points to 2.82 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alumil (AT: ALMr ), which fell 3.50% or 0.16 points to trade at 4.27 at the close. Lavipharm SA (AT: LPHr ) declined 2.62% or 0.02 points to end at 0.78 and Ekter (AT: EKTr ) was down 2.46% or 0.05 points to 1.82.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 92 to 29 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Thessaloniki Port Authority SA (AT: OLTr ) rose to 52-week highs; rising 12.97% or 3.10 to 27.00.
Gold Futures for February delivery was down 1.12% or 30.49 to $2,684.51 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 1.74% or 1.32 to hit $77.07 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract rose 1.52% or 1.21 to trade at $80.97 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.38% to 1.02, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 109.84.
