Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.29%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate , Biomed and Technology sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.29% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE: NVMI ), which rose 5.27% or 4,110.00 points to trade at 82,060.00 at the close. Meanwhile, NICE Ltd (TASE: NICE ) added 3.60% or 2,150.00 points to end at 61,810.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE: ICL ) was up 3.44% or 68.00 points to 2,044.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE: TEVA ), which fell 0.65% or 49.00 points to trade at 7,530.00 at the close. Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE: SPNS ) declined 0.51% or 48.00 points to end at 9,371.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE: ASHG ) was down 0.25% or 15.00 points to 6,030.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 332 to 136 and 69 ended unchanged.

Shares in ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE: ICL ) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.44% or 68.00 to 2,044.00.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.78% or 0.60 to $76.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.83% or 0.67 to hit $80.34 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 5.94 to trade at $2,684.54 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.11% to 3.62, while EUR/ILS rose 0.37% to 3.73.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.60% at 109.15.
