Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare , Industrials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.58% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST: TEL2b ), which rose 2.82% or 3.05 points to trade at 111.25 at the close. Meanwhile, NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST: NIBEb ) added 2.62% or 1.10 points to end at 41.10 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST: AZN ) was up 1.96% or 28.50 points to 1,480.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AB SKF B (ST: SKFb ), which fell 1.11% or 2.40 points to trade at 214.10 at the close. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST: SBBb ) declined 0.88% or 0.05 points to end at 5.29 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST: SWEDa ) was down 0.77% or 1.80 points to 232.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 403 to 350 and 77 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.41% or 1.11 to $77.60 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.24% or 1.02 to hit $81.01 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.36% or 36.94 to trade at $2,754.74 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.03% to 11.48, while USD/SEK fell 0.07% to 11.15.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 108.82.
