Indonesia stocks higher at close of trade; IDX Composite Index up 0.42%

Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Agriculture , Basic Industry and Property sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.42%.

The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Raharja Energi Cepu Tbk Pt (JK: RATU ), which rose 24.71% or 1,070.00 points to trade at 5,400.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Indo Straits Tbk (JK: PTIS ) added 24.35% or 56.00 points to end at 286.00 and Asia Sejahtera Mina Tbk (JK: AGAR ) was up 24.27% or 50.00 points to 256.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Aman Agrindo Tbk PT (JK: GULA ), which fell 24.66% or 127.00 points to trade at 388.00 at the close. Raja Roti Cemerlang Tbk Pt (JK: BRRC ) declined 19.09% or 21.00 points to end at 89.00 and Mulia Boga Raya PT (JK: KEJU ) was down 11.33% or 85.00 points to 665.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 384 to 241 and 222 ended unchanged.

Shares in Raharja Energi Cepu Tbk Pt (JK: RATU ) rose to all time highs; gaining 24.71% or 1,070.00 to 5,400.00. Shares in Raja Roti Cemerlang Tbk Pt (JK: BRRC ) fell to all time lows; losing 19.09% or 21.00 to 89.00.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.68% or 0.53 to $78.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.57% or 0.46 to hit $81.75 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.44% or 12.04 to trade at $2,738.86 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was up 0.20% to 16,353.50, while AUD/IDR fell 0.11% to 10,170.51.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 108.93.
