Italy stocks lower at close of trade; Investing.com Italy 40 unchanged

Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as in the sectors led shares .

At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 unchanged 0.00%.

The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Iveco Group NV (BIT: IVG ), which rose 5.72% or 0.56 points to trade at 10.27 at the close. Meanwhile, Buzzi Unicem (BIT: BZU ) added 4.32% or 1.58 points to end at 38.16 and Azimut Holding SpA (BIT: AZMT ) was up 2.95% or 0.73 points to 25.51 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Amplifon (BIT: AMPF ), which fell 1.54% or 0.41 points to trade at 26.14 at the close. Saipem SpA (BIT: SPMI ) declined 0.58% or 0.02 points to end at 2.56 and Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena SpA (BIT: BMPS ) was down 0.40% or 0.03 points to 7.05.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 355 to 175 and 52 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.21% or 0.16 to $77.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.12% or 0.10 to hit $81.19 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 4.66 to trade at $2,755.56 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.18% to 1.03, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.39% to 0.84.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 109.13.
