Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking , Financials and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE: ENLT ), which rose 4.75% or 291.00 points to trade at 6,415.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energix (TASE: ENRG ) added 3.93% or 49.00 points to end at 1,297.00 and Nova (TASE: NVMI ) was up 3.07% or 2,690.00 points to 90,200.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE: PHOE ), which fell 2.06% or 124.00 points to trade at 5,900.00 at the close. Harel (TASE: HARL ) declined 1.99% or 111.00 points to end at 5,457.00 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE: MZTF ) was down 1.66% or 290.00 points to 17,160.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 284 to 185 and 68 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nova (TASE: NVMI ) rose to all time highs; rising 3.07% or 2,690.00 to 90,200.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.86% or 1.44 to $75.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.51% or 1.22 to hit $79.57 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.79% or 21.59 to trade at $2,727.11 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.17% to 3.57, while EUR/ILS rose 1.44% to 3.71.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.02% at 108.08.
