Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Utilities , Technology and Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.14%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE: CGCBV ), which rose 3.15% or 1.47 points to trade at 48.14 at the close. Meanwhile, Metsa Board Oyj B (HE: METSB ) added 3.02% or 0.13 points to end at 4.56 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE: OUT1V ) was up 1.67% or 0.05 points to 2.99 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Konecranes ABP (HE: KCRA ), which fell 2.42% or 1.50 points to trade at 60.45 at the close. Sampo Oyj A (HE: SAMPO ) declined 2.07% or 0.83 points to end at 39.18 and Qt Group Oyj (HE: QTCOM ) was down 1.67% or 1.30 points to 76.70.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 101 to 63 and 25 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for March delivery was down 0.92% or 0.74 to $80.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.15% or 0.89 to hit $76.50 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.94% or 25.71 to trade at $2,722.99 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was up 1.13% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.85.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.05% at 108.06.
