The worst performers of the session were Ecopetrol SA (BVC: ECO ), which fell 5.21% or 100.00 points to trade at 1,820.00 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (BVC: BIC_p1 ) declined 4.55% or 1,920.00 points to end at 40,280.00 and Grupo Argos SA (BVC: ARG ) was down 4.19% or 900.00 points to 20,600.00.

US coffee C for May delivery was up 5.00% or 17.15 to $360.00 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 4.86% or 393.00 to hit $8,481.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 2.45% or 77.90 to trade at $3,255.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.48% to 4,281.90, while BRL/COP fell 1.14% to 729.34.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.04% at 99.56.
