Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.94%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Technology , Oil & Gas and Insurance sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.94%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE: ENOG ), which rose 5.83% or 209.00 points to trade at 3,794.00 at the close. Meanwhile, NICE Ltd (TASE: NICE ) added 5.20% or 2,820.00 points to end at 57,050.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE: ASHG ) was up 4.14% or 217.00 points to 5,460.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Melisron (TASE: MLSR ), which fell 1.41% or 430.00 points to trade at 30,030.00 at the close. Strauss Group (TASE: STRS ) declined 1.03% or 84.00 points to end at 8,070.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE: AMOT ) was down 0.86% or 16.00 points to 1,838.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.38% or 1.43 to $61.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 2.26% or 1.43 to hit $64.76 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 2.11% or 67.10 to trade at $3,244.60 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.90% to 3.71, while EUR/ILS rose 0.54% to 4.22.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.72% at 99.89.
