Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.78%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Industrial Investment , Transport and Insurance sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.78%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL: 4230 ), which rose 10.00% or 3.70 points to trade at 40.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrical Industries Co (TADAWUL: 1303 ) added 9.88% or 0.57 points to end at 6.34 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL: 2370 ) was up 9.86% or 3.15 points to 35.10 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL: 2300 ), which fell 2.73% or 1.80 points to trade at 64.20 at the close. National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL: 4005 ) declined 2.05% or 3.20 points to end at 153.00 and Saudi Darb Investment Co (TADAWUL: 4130 ) was down 2.00% or 0.07 points to 3.43.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 259 to 70 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.38% or 1.43 to $61.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 2.26% or 1.43 to hit $64.76 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 2.11% or 67.10 to trade at $3,244.60 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 1.46% to 4.26, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.72% at 99.89.
