Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 1.33%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials , Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 1.33%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (BVC: ECO ), which rose 5.04% or 90.00 points to trade at 1,875.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos SA (BVC: CCB ) added 3.57% or 350.00 points to end at 10,160.00 and Banco De Bogota SA (BVC: BBO ) was up 3.50% or 1,000.00 points to 29,600.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC: BVC ), which fell 11.32% or 1,720.00 points to trade at 13,480.00 at the close. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC: ISA ) declined 2.14% or 420.00 points to end at 19,200.00 and Bancolombia SA (BVC: BIC ) was down 1.08% or 500.00 points to 45,700.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for May delivery was up 1.29% or 4.60 to $362.30 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 1.89% or 161.00 to hit $8,350.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 18.18 to trade at $3,226.42 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.77% to 4,309.25, while BRL/COP rose 0.96% to 735.96.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.45% at 99.44.
