Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.17%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods , Chemicals and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.17%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE: DSV ), which rose 9.25% or 106.50 points to trade at 1,257.50 at the close. Meanwhile, NKT Holding (CSE: NKT ) added 4.39% or 21.30 points to end at 506.50 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE: DANSKE ) was up 3.27% or 6.80 points to 215.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE: NOVOb ), which fell 2.34% or 10.20 points to trade at 425.70 at the close. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ZELA ) declined 1.51% or 6.80 points to end at 445.00 and Ambu A/S (CSE: AMBUb ) was down 0.51% or 0.60 points to 117.90.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 44 and 9 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.55% or 0.34 to $61.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.57% or 0.37 to hit $64.51 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 12.81 to trade at $3,239.11 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.34% to 6.60, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 99.68.
