Sweden stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 down 0.76%

Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials , Industrials and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.76%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Evolution AB (ST: EVOG ), which rose 2.92% or 23.40 points to trade at 824.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank Abp (ST: NDASE ) added 1.73% or 2.15 points to end at 126.20 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST: HMb ) was up 1.06% or 1.50 points to 138.70 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Sinch AB (ST: SINCH ), which fell 2.96% or 0.62 points to trade at 20.31 at the close. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST: NIBEb ) declined 2.73% or 1.00 points to end at 36.00 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST: KINVb ) was down 2.19% or 1.70 points to 74.30.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 426 to 302 and 70 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.99% or 1.22 to $62.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.81% or 1.17 to hit $65.84 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 3.18% or 102.94 to trade at $3,343.34 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was down 0.18% to 11.10, while USD/SEK fell 1.06% to 9.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.75% at 99.21.
