Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.15%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Building & Construction , Telecoms & IT and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.15%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Lazurde for Jewelry Co (TADAWUL: 4011 ), which rose 10.00% or 1.28 points to trade at 14.08 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL: 4140 ) added 9.69% or 0.22 points to end at 2.49 and Mobile Telecommunications Company (TADAWUL: 7030 ) was up 5.65% or 0.70 points to 13.08 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al Mawarid Manpower Company SCJSC (TADAWUL: 1833 ), which fell 4.93% or 7.40 points to trade at 142.60 at the close. City Cement Co (TADAWUL: 3003 ) declined 4.56% or 0.96 points to end at 20.10 and Umm Al-Qura (TADAWUL: 3005 ) was down 3.96% or 0.74 points to 17.94.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 173 to 140 and 25 ended unchanged.

Shares in Mobile Telecommunications Company (TADAWUL: 7030 ) rose to 52-week highs; rising 5.65% or 0.70 to 13.08.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.53% or 0.94 to $62.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.48% or 0.96 to hit $65.63 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 2.71% or 87.84 to trade at $3,328.24 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.60% to 4.26, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.59% at 99.37.
