Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials , Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 1.43%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC: CCB_p ), which rose 4.00% or 400.00 points to trade at 10,400.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bancolombia Pf (BVC: BIC_p1 ) added 2.82% or 1,160.00 points to end at 42,240.00 and Bancolombia SA (BVC: BIC ) was up 2.81% or 1,300.00 points to 47,640.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC: BVC ), which fell 3.86% or 520.00 points to trade at 12,960.00 at the close. Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC: GEB ) declined 1.06% or 30.00 points to end at 2,800.00 and Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC: NCH ) was down 0.87% or 1,040.00 points to 118,360.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
US coffee C for May delivery was up 2.30% or 8.50 to $377.90 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 0.87% or 70.00 to hit $8,072.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 3.62% or 117.20 to trade at $3,357.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.12% to 4,312.12, while BRL/COP rose 0.12% to 735.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.92% at 99.04.
