Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials , Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Paris, the CAC 40 added 0.45%, while the SBF 120 index gained 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the CAC 40 were Accor SA (EPA: ACCP ), which rose 6.30% or 2.56 points to trade at 43.22 at the close. Meanwhile, Compagnie de Saint Gobain SA (EPA: SGOB ) added 4.65% or 4.20 points to end at 94.50 and Safran SA (EPA: SAF ) was up 4.16% or 9.20 points to 230.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Edenred SA (EPA: EDEN ), which fell 16.78% or 5.35 points to trade at 26.53 at the close. Thales (EPA: TCFP ) declined 3.11% or 7.50 points to end at 233.80 and Orange SA (EPA: ORAN ) was down 2.95% or 0.38 points to 12.33.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Atos SE (EPA: ATOS ) which rose 7.51% to 37.20, Accor SA (EPA: ACCP ) which was up 6.30% to settle at 43.22 and Compagnie de Saint Gobain SA (EPA: SGOB ) which gained 4.65% to close at 94.50.
The worst performers were Edenred SA (EPA: EDEN ) which was down 16.78% to 26.53 in late trade, Alten SA (EPA: LTEN ) which lost 15.54% to settle at 69.85 and Lectra SA (EPA: LECS ) which was down 9.70% to 22.80 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 272 to 215 and 74 ended unchanged.

The CAC 40 VIX , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for June delivery was down 1.62% or 54.41 to $3,294.19 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 0.13% or 0.08 to hit $62.87 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract rose 0.18% or 0.12 to trade at $66.67 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.05% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 99.26.
