Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.09%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Oil & Gas , Insurance and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.09%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were NICE Ltd (TASE: NICE ), which rose 3.13% or 1,650.00 points to trade at 54,410.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE: ENOG ) added 3.11% or 136.00 points to end at 4,512.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE: ORA ) was up 3.09% or 760.00 points to 25,380.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE: TSEM ), which fell 3.94% or 580.00 points to trade at 14,150.00 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE: TEVA ) declined 2.14% or 120.00 points to end at 5,490.00 and Energix (TASE: ENRG ) was down 1.42% or 15.00 points to 1,042.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 326 to 124 and 88 ended unchanged.

Shares in Energix (TASE: ENRG ) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.42% or 15.00 to 1,042.00.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.02% or 0.68 to $67.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.30% or 0.90 to hit $70.36 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 12.50 to trade at $2,914.10 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.28% to 3.62, while EUR/ILS rose 0.77% to 3.92.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 103.81.
