Morocco stocks lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.16%

Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Utilities , Software & Computer Services and Forestry & Paper sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.16%.

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Lesieur Cristal (CSE: LES ), which rose 5.08% or 13.50 points to trade at 279.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Hps (CSE: HPS ) added 3.33% or 20.00 points to end at 620.00 and Cartier Saada (CSE: CRS ) was up 3.26% or 1.06 points to 33.56 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Jet Contractors (CSE: JET ), which fell 4.62% or 120.00 points to trade at 2,479.00 at the close. Stokvis Nord Afrique (CSE: SNA ) declined 4.61% or 1.30 points to end at 26.91 and Societe des Boissons du Maroc SA (CSE: SBM ) was down 3.73% or 89.00 points to 2,300.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 26 to 26 and 4 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.70% or 0.47 to $66.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.67% or 0.47 to hit $69.89 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.91 to trade at $2,912.19 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.07% to 10.55, while USD/MAD fell 0.06% to 9.73.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 103.83.
